Playdate/Surprise Baby Shower

For the past few months, we have been having a playgroup with some of my Zeta sisters.  It has been so great to get back together after all this time.  One of our sisters, Diana, is due with a baby girl in June and we decided it would be a great idea to surprise her with a baby shower at our next playdate.  We had to be sneaky to get her family involved, but she had a great group of women there.  Everything was so wonderful and probably one of the easiest baby showers I have every helped with.  I did the cake, some cake balls and a banner.  Brooke hosted and everyone brought a dish.  Diana's mom made the best egg rolls.  I took some home and Craig ate them before I even unpacked my stuff, haha!It was really cute!  Here is the table all set up with the yummy food!

I got the cake from my favorite place, Treat Me Sweet and went with the almond and raspberry filling again.  It is just a great taste and a lot of people love it!  I think the cake turned out really cute and we went with a ZTA theme with the turquoise & silver and strawberries and crowns.

Some of Diana's family waiting for her to arrive.

This pictures look like spy shots, good job Jennifer!  We were spying to see when she was coming, so it is appropriate, haha!

Tyler was not ready to come in, so I went out to convince him to come in, sneaky!

Look at that face, she was so surprised.  She didn't quite understand why all her family was at the playdate, haha!

Priceless!  And she brought cookies to her own baby shower, haha!

There is my future Zeta Lady, sweet K Mae.

She had to wear her legacy shirt and strawberry skirt, of course.

Kennedy and Caiden hanging out!

Jennifer is telling me that they were holding hands, so cute!  Lincoln wore his cape the whole time, my little super hero!

Ashley and baby Peighton, only six weeks old.  We have a lot of future Zeta Ladies!

Soon she will have one too!

Love it!

Poppy and Kennedy hanging out after all the festivities.

Poppy learned how to clap!  It is really the cutest thing, I can't wait for Kennedy to learn.

It was a great baby shower and play date.  Thanks Brooke for hosting, it turned out fantastic.  We all can't wait to meet baby Ava, she is already loved!

Avery Turn's 3!

On April 26th, we celebrated Avery's Third Birthday at Chuck E Cheese.  As far as I can remember, the last time Lincoln was at Chuck e Cheese, he was in my tummy at Levi's second birthday.  Needless to say, he thought it was awesome.  He was running everywhere.  Here is Daddy and Kennedy at the party.

They should name and ice cream after them named "Chunky Luv", I would gobble it up!

K Mae and Mommy!

Cake time!

Happy Birthday Avery!

What a fun time we had at Avery's Birthday!  Lincoln kept saying, now Avery will turn 4.  I had to tell him that it would be a while before that happened since she just turned 3.  I think he just wanted to go back to Chuck e Cheese again, too cute!

Egg Hunt 2011

On April 17th, we attended the Borg's annual egg hunt.  I love taking Lincoln to hunt eggs because he has so much fun.  We had a beautiful day for the egg hunt.  Just Lincoln, Kennedy and I headed to the egg hunt while Craig was making his way back from a kayak trip with Philip.  Kennedy gave me a big break and slept thought the entire egg hunt potion of the day!  Here is Lincoln about to see the Easter Bunny.

He did so good and went right up to him.

The boys (Lincoln, Owen and Boston) waiting for the photo op with the whole group.

Avery, along with a lot of other kids, did not feel too keen about seeing the Easter Bunny, but it was so cute!

Time to hunt eggs!

Yay, he got some good eggs!

Waking up right before the train ride, thanks Kennedy, you made it a bit easier on mamma.

Train time, yay!

Natalie and her kids in the background.  Niki and her kids where there too, but I guess I didn't get a picture.  All of us where there without our husbands, it was pretty interesting and took a lot of team work to get on and off the train!  Thanks Gals!

Thanks so much for the fun egg hunt Jen and Family!

To The Zoo!

We love the Zoo, but don't often go.  I blame our crazy weather and the fact that I work and it often doesn't fit in our weekend plans.  So when it was time to renew our membership this year, I decided not to renew.  Then they started advertising Dinosaurs at the Zoo and Craig and I decided it would be good to go.  I really want to try and go more often this year and decided that maybe this year I would get good use out of the membership.  Our goal is to go once a month, and I hope we can make that work because Lincoln loves to go!  Here we are on April 14th at the Zoo.

I love my double stroller for outings like these.  Lincoln got his own membership card this year since he is over three.  It has his picture and everything, it is his first ID card of any sort with his picture on it!

It was a beautiful day and all the animals were out to play.  It was also a school tour day and super busy!

See how much fun he is having!

Thats a big turtle!

Got to get his climb in!

She did so good just hanging out for the ride.

They had little dinosaur exibits throught the Zoo, you never knew where you would find one.

Looking smooth in her shades.

Someone is happy to get on the train and go home for the day!

And we're tired!

I really do love the Zoo.  It is fun and I always seem to find something new.  Lincoln loves the Zoo too, but he especially loves the train at the Zoo and was talking about it for weeks!  We must go back soon.
