September from iPhone Land!

Ok, I got a little more time to catch up on my blog and so we are back to September for this one and the last one I posted.  Here are some pictures from that month to show what fun we had!

On the way to Hawaiian Falls with Jennifer and Caiden for the first time, gotta get in a quick cat nap!

Getting a couple more swims at moms before it gets cold!

Having fun at a Firetruck Birthday Party! They got to sit inside the truck.

With Caleb at a Pump It Up PJ Party!

Having fun with Kennedy's new Graco baby set!

The walls got done and the pictures hung, looks awesome!
Kenny got her big girl bed stuff from Grandma, we have not turned her room into a big girl room yet, but we will be ready!

Kennedy at her two year check up, she wanted to fill out the shot records. Yes, we have another left handed baby on our hands!

I was the soccer coach this past season.  It was a bit difficult to get a good picture with 11 3-4 year olds, haha!

Love Him!

Our first attempt to put a pony tail on K Mae!

Ok, so growing up, my favorite time to play soccer was in the rain.  Why, you ask?  Well everything is slippery and so you are just slip sliding all over the field, you may just have to try it yourself.  The kids did not seem to like it that much, but maybe they will grow into loving it!  Here we are at Lincoln's first rainy game.  Aves and Linc were happy to get snacks and get out of there.

We also went to the Children's Museum with Mike, Jennifer and Caiden.

Craig got out "planed" by Mike, which is a shame since Craig works for Lockheed Aeronautics, haha!

We love September!

Adults Only Vacation to Galveston!

We finally made it to an adults only vacation!  In September, we headed to Galveston Island with 3 couples from Craig's work that don't have kids.  We all shared a cute little beach house that was actually quite nice inside.  It was nice to get to know some of Craig's co-workers better.  We stayed 3 nights and the weather was great almost the whole time, crazy since it was hurricane season (but that is what makes the rooms so cheap!) Anyway, this was the view from our beach house.

Here are the boys playing something in the yard.

Relaxing on the beach, I played soccer!

It was a bit windy, they were trying to set up a volleyball net but it kept blowing down, so then we just resorted to playing beach soccer.
Our little beach house sat on stilts, all the houses did there.  It was decorated really cute inside.  This was the first day there.

There were these baby frogs hiding everywhere!

We did get a brief rain storm the first day.

But then it was back to baby blues and fun surfing tides!

You had to watch out for the huge jelly fish, eek!  I did get to do some relaxing which was awesome!

We sent this to Lincoln, he wanted to see his name in the sand.

Yay for Adult Time!

Dressed up for dinner one night!

And yes, I ate it all!

We would run along the beach in the mornings, it was super nice!

This house was for sale, we totally should have bought it, haha, that is if we were millionaires!

Even in Galveston, they had my rare and favorite ice cream!

My mom would send me pictures of the kids, missed them so much!

Philip (Avery's dad) coached a game while I was gone and Niki sent me this cute picture of them!

The girls all made vacation shirts, it was fun, mine said "Warning, Vacationing Without Kids"

Downtown Galveston is super cute and boutiquey

Dude, it was so good!  I know it is not fish, but yum!

Our last night there.  We were all a bit sunburned and Craig and I missed our kids.  It was great to have some adult time as well, you need that every once in a while.  I hope we get to do it again, it was fun!

Kennedy Turn's Two - Lemonade and Sunshine Birthday Party

Happy 2nd Birthday Kennedy Mae!  I can't believe you are already two.  I feels like you were just born and now you are growing so big.  I love your little laugh and how soft spoken your words are.  How can that be when you have such a loud scream, haha.  You are very motherly and like to ask people if they are "ok". You can sing a lot of nursery rhymes now, including your favorite Baa Baa Black Sheep. At the time of your birthday, you where still in diapers.  You are still in your crib and still being a great sleeper, thank you! You are very stubborn but also very loving, you know what you want.  I think you are going to keep us on our toes this year.  My favorite thing about this age is hearing you develop your words, they are so cute.  I also love how you still find comfort in stroking your hair or my hair.  I love you K Mae, and Happy 2 Years!

IT's Party Time!  We had a lemonade stand themed birthday party for your second birthday.

The favors included old time lemon drops and your favorite iced cookies

The front door sign that now hangs on your door.

The goodie table, Pink Lemonade cake that I made and lemon drop cupcakes.

Your favorite iced cookies, I bought those, haha!

A little something savory to settle all the sweets.
