Christmas Fun

I updated the blog with 4 new posts.  One of them is on the next page, enjoy!
Last Saturday we went to the Borg Christmas party.  Lincoln had a blast last year and I knew he would enjoy it this year.  It was kind of our kick off to the Christmas season.  We got to see Santa and bring a gift for a child in need.  There was also cookie decorating and other fun activities.  Here is Lincoln at the table decorating a Santa puppet.

He did so great on Santa, I am glad he is not scared.  When he is asked what he wants, he will tell you Jesus, so cute!

Family pic minus K, she is sleeping!

The Brawley's also came and Avery did great this year.

Cutie pants!

Now it was K's turn and she did great!

Both the babes!

Lincoln looks like he had too much fun, haha!

Time for nap number two, sweet thing.

It was a great party, thanks Jenn and Family!

This Saturday we had our 2 annual book exchange with the Brawley's.  This year we went to their house and ate pizza and had cocoa cola cake.  The cake was so good and I am glad I decided to try the recipe.  I am making it again at Christmas.  We got everyone in their Christmas pjs and watched Christmas Vacation.  Here are the Brawley's.

Kids getting excited about the books.

Big blue eyes!

Lincoln also got to hold Elvis the turtle.

Book time, ready, set, go!

Even the babes got some books!

Thanks for a great time Niki and Philip.

Happy Birthday Mom

Two Thursdays ago we celebrated my mom's birthday.  We decided to do something different this year so that we could maybe start a new tradition.  My mom had not decorated her tree yet and wanted our help.  She said for gifts she wanted us to decorate ornaments at her house and put them on the tree.  It was a great idea and a lot of fun!  Instead of dinner, we opted for a yummy cake from Treat Me Sweet!  It was french vanilla with raspberry, yum!

The birthday mom and Lincoln!

He helped blow them out.  I think he kinda thought it was his birthday, cute!

One of the cute ornaments I got mom, I love mud pie!

Fun with the Brawley's!

Two weekends ago, Niki and I took the kids to the zoo.  I wanted to go before I went back to work since I knew it would be hard to once I did.  It was a beautiful day for the zoo and there was hardly anyone there.  The kids had a great time!

Here they are checking out the elephants.

Even the little babies went.  Niki and sleeping Calvin.

Lincoln and Avery on the elephant.

Kennedy was NOT asleep, haha!

This was the first time Niki or I had seen a hippo out of the water, they are huge!

Levi and Lincoln roaring!

Avery checking out Kennedy.

Calvin still sleeping, lucky!

They like to sit on things.

I think she enjoyed being in the carrier more.

More posing.

That night we went out to Edelweiss for Philip and Kali's Birthday.  It was my first time there and was a lot of fun.  The food was interesting for sure and the music was great.  Lincoln had a great time dancing the chicken dance with Daddy.

Daddy trying out his double armed dancing.

So precious!

There is hope for them yet of at least being great friends!

Or maybe puppy love!

Kennedy slept through the night after we got home, woo hoo.  I think the music wore her out.  Happy birthday guys and Craig, his was on the 5th!
