Lincoln's New Room Part 1

With the coming addition to our family, we have decided to move Lincoln into our use to be guest room.  We did a lot of thinking and planning before tackling the task.  Craig wanted to do a train themed room and has mostly completed his train bed.  But before we moved the bed in, I wanted to have the room painted. 

We headed to the store on Saturday morning thinking we would just paint the whole room one color and left with 5 or six colors, haha.

This is what the room looked like before.

It was decorated cute, but the walls were the standard color that the house was painted in when we bought it.

The only real color in the room was this painting Jenny did for my grandma in highschool.

Back to our color choices...Craig decided he wanted to do a landscape scene.  He painted the bottom green like grass.  Then he added trees of different colors.  He added the sky color and last he added the clouds.  And here is how it turned out!

The clouds took the longest, but they came out so great.  He has 5 clouds total.  The one over his bed will get some letters later on.

It really turned out so cute and I am so proud of Craig and his artistic mind.
