Linc is 3

Yay for THREE!  Lincoln turned 3 years old on March 1st this year.  It will be so exciting when we get to celebrate his birthday on his real birth day next year, February 29th!  We started a tradition last year of getting him a doughnut for breakfast on his birthday.  Our friends Niki and Philip had been doing this for Levi and Lincoln loves doughnuts so we thought it would be perfect!  Incedently, Craig ran out at 5:50 am to get Linc's special birthday doughnut, the same time Lincoln was born!  We then got him up to sing him happy bithday (it was a school day, so we had to get up early)!

He loved singing happy birthday!

Oh my how you have grown over the last year:

-You are 29 pounds (25%) and 36 inches tall (25%).  You are small but mighty!

-You had to get one shot this time and after watching Kennedy get her 4 shots (bad idea) you screamed and didn't want your one.  But got over it quickly.

-You have move into preschool at Kid's Place and love it.  You are surrounded by 3 and 4 year olds and I can already see you have learned so much from them.

-You are potty trained and have been for a few months, yhew!

-You still take one nap a day at school and we try hard at home, but sometimes it doesn't happen.  We certainly pay the price if you don't get your nap, haha!

-You still sleep go to sleep from 7pm to 7:30 and wake up around 6 on a school day and 8 on the weekends.

-Your favorite shows rotate between handy manny and caillou

-You love all things toy story and have two buzz's and two woody's

-You became a big brother this year and you are doing a great job at showing her the ropes

-You love to pick out your clothes and put them on by yourself.  You have been know to match your shorts with your cowboy boots!

-You talk like an adult and I laugh at how grown up you try to be, it is so cute!

-Three is a great age and you certainly want to explore your own identity and sometimes that is hard for Mommy and Daddy, but we can tell you are going to be a strong man when you grow up!

We love you so much Lincoln.  You bring so much joy into our lives and your personality attracks people.  We enjoy watching you grow up and can't believe you are already three.
