Six Months for Kennedy Mae

Kennedy Mae turned six months on March 8th!  Really, six months, where has the time gone.  It really has flown by and I have to attribute that to being so busy.  This has been another month were you have just grown so much.

"Ok, enough of this outfit, on to the goods now mom"

How have you grown this month:

-You are 17.9 pounds (75%) and 26.5 inches long (75%).  I love that you are so healthy!

-You still wear size 3 diapers

-You officially wear 6-12 month clothes now.  I have noticed that in girl clothes you can wear a whole size bigger (like 12 months) and it will still fit because the clothes fit so tight

-You can babble up a storm and laugh like crazy

-You can now sit up on your own and reach forward for toys.  Sometimes you land on your stomach which is the starting action to crawling.  You are also digging your feet into the ground and can move a bit on your stomach

-You don't really like your binky anymore, but will take it sometimes in the car

-You are still sleeping well, about an 8 hour stretch, but that ends up being in the middle of the night for me.  We hope with more food you will sleep until 5 or 6, we shall see. You still have a very crazy nap schedule or lack of schedule I should say, hopefully we can work on that as well

-You had to get 4 shots this time and you screamed so loud, you are surely going to be a cheerleader or singer

-Your fine motor skills are getting better each day so we will have to be careful with what is around you

-You scoot all around your crib at night and are often on the opposite end facing the opposite way when I get you in the morning

-You still stay with Youg during the day and love it there

-You got a cold this month that won't go away and you hate being stopped up

-You still nurse about 6-7 times a day and are eating about 2-3 jars of food a day and L O V E it! Your favorite is still oatmeal, but you eat peas, carrots, sweet potatoes, prunes, pears and apples.

-You love the outdoors and especially walks with Yong

-For your halfy birthday, you got a new doll from baby be blessed.  It is so cute and says your full name and birthday date as well as, "May the Lord give his angles charge over you, to guide you in all of your ways..." Psalm 91:11 It is suppose to look like you and has brown hair and dark eyes.  Not sure if you hair is going to be brown now, but it is still very cute and made just for you! (see below)
