Father's Day 2012

We had a busy Father's day this year!  Craig's dad got a boat and wanted to go out on it first thing in the morning.  We got to the lake around 9 am and drove around for a few hours.  Kenny even got to drive the boat. Craig's dad has been a wonderful father-in-law to me and is always super nice.  He is always trying to take care of his family and my kids just adore him!

Lincoln always enjoys his daddy time!  I could not have asked for a better father to my children.  He has been a natural from the start and always knows how to make them happy when they are upset.  He can always find the best tickle spots and gives the best snuggle hugs.  Both my kids are silent when he sings them songs, that is a gift! We love you so much Craig!

Love my Lincoln man!

After a few hours of boating, we headed over to my parents house for more father's day festivities with my dad.  K was excited to get into the pool!  She put her jumper on right away.

Lincoln loves to jump off the diving board, I even taught him to dive and he is pretty good.

I saw another cute idea on pintrest for father's day gifts and recreated it as my own. I got some of his old ties and put some pictures of me and the kids in a shadow box.  The Tabasco tie I actually wore when I worked at the Keg, so that tie is really special to us.

He really liked the gift.  We are also taking both of our dads to a rangers game at the end of July!  I am so thankful for my dad.  He is such a strong role model and sweet and funny guy.  He also always wants to take care of his family and we never have to worry about a thing. He is always looking out for you! I am so lucky to have a man like him in my life.  I love you so much Dad! Happy Father's Day to all!

Swimming with K Mae!

Kennedy has joined the swimming band waggon! We got K a puddle jumper for a boat ride with the Kolbs and it has been so useful.  We got invited over the the Forresters pool for a swim and Kenny was just eating up the water.  She was kicking and floating all with the help of this little device, they are awesome.  And they fit so much better than a life jacket would on her.
He is almost there on his swimming, we hope by the end of the summer he will be!

There our little swimmer goes!  Kenny really loves to drink the water, so we have to watch her on that, haha.

I just love my little girl and am so happy she loves the water too!

T-ball for Lincoln

In June, Lincoln finished his first season of T-ball.  His soccer coach decided to coach t-ball and Lincoln really wanted to try it out.  He wanted to be just like daddy and hit the baseball!

At the first of the season, I didn't know if he was going to last.  Baseball is just a much slower sport than soccer.  There is a lot of standing around waiting and hoping a ball will come to you, and with kids his age, the distraction level is high.  But, when it came to hitting the ball, Lincoln loved it.  After a few games, he even got better at throwing the ball.  I don't know if it is because he is left handed or what, but we really had to work on his throwing and will continue to so he can get the hand/eye coordination down.  Craig is up for the task to keep it going once it cools down again!

Here he is with his team, the Nationals!

Could there be a cuter 2nd basemen!?!

They even had a team mom and she was awesome!  She made all the kids buckets with their number and had a sitting mat with the number as well.  This was a great idea for both keeping the gear with the correct kids and for keeping the kids by their stuff when they were waiting to bat.

He is ready!

Swing little buddy!

K Mae learned to say "Go Bubba" during his season, it was too cute!

He really enjoyed the season.  A few kids even knew how to slide and Lincoln wants to practice that for the next season.  But, what he is most excited about is me coaching his soccer team in September!  I am excited I get to coach too, it will be so fun!
